Some of us can remember a daily [black and white] and Sunday [color] newspaper comic strip Dick Tracy [created by Chester Gould]. We remember Dick Tracy's adventures fighting crime and criminals [Selbert Depool, Shoulders, Flattop Jones, Cueball]. He was no super hero like Superman or Spiderman sporting a number of super powers. He relied instead on his cognitive processes and the scientific technological goodies supplied by Diet Smith Industries [an enterprise of an eccentric industrialist who financed the development of the technology] like the two-way wrist radio.

Tracy was everywhere...feature films, serials, radio, and television.
