Can we really understand the world?

I asked this back in April of 2008 [ Knowledge limitations ]...

1.) What is the relation between our opinion [views] of the world and the way the world actually is?

2.) Could the world be such that we might not be able to imagine or understand how it actually works?

3.) Aren't we severely handicapped by the limited concepts and words which we have available in our language? What if this limited stock of concepts is inadequate for the construction of theories that actually describe the world?

Give it some thought and reply.
