Steam transportation in North Wales

Steam locomotive "Dolgoch" on the Talyllyn Railway, Snowdonia, Wales, 1920s.

The Talyllyn Railway is the oldest [1865], and still functioning, narrow gauge train running from Tywyn to Abergynolwyn and Nant Gwernol.

The following documentary emphasizes the experiences of a slow-paced mode of transportation.
