Well, I'm glad we're hearing from someone with any sort of engineering experience. Better watch out for those sticky steam valves! Or 2500 psi steam 'leaking' out of a supply main ;)
A 'cracked' supply main will take the building and adjacent buildings down like Tinker Toy's. You'd have heard about it.
