Assisted knowledge
My oh my, I Googled "cheating on exams" hoping to discover some decent input, but what did I find...page after page "on how to cheat"--what an industry it has turned into. I remember recently discussing this with a university professor nearby and he offered the standard reply initially..."well, they are only cheating themselves." That's philosophically true and old. Not one much can do. Complete research papers are offered online for a price and for the professor there are services, for a fee, that will check papers for plagiarism. But my friend suggested that in time and over the course of the class a pattern develops and something totally different will emerge to the discerning eye. Overall, he wasn't that concerned.
